Epiworx’s board of directors is made of highly experienced professionals from different backgrounds.
SOPHIA NGOASHENG
Sophia holds a B.Com in Business Management and Economics, she is the Executive Chairperson and founder of Epiworx . Whilst working she
attended a Management Development Programme at Unisa School of Business Leadership.
Sophia commands an extensive knowledge of Supply Chain Management at operational and executive level, with seventeen (17) years in various companies including Eskom, SASOL, Transnet, City Power, Rand Water, Gauteng Department of Finance, Anooraq Resources.
She has solid experience in Supply Chain policy and strategy formulation and implementation.
BERTHA DLOTHI
Bertha commenced her corporate path in 1997 with ABSA as a specialist in evaluations and underwriting. She later joined Telkom SA were she was involved in various divisions. The last senior position held being a stakeholder manager for the Public Sector clients including City of Cape Town, Tygerberg City and Buffalo City.
Currently she is the Chairperson at Parkview Junior is actively involved with the school and was instrumental in assisting with the process of hiring a Head. She is also a member of the Centenary Governance Committee for both junior and senior schools.
Bertha’s formal education,work experience and current involvement with the school has sharpened her understanding, practice and application of Corporate Governance .
ESTHER WILKEN
Esther started her career in the accounting profession in 1989. Working as an article clerk, she studied part time towards her BCompt through UNISA. After completion of her articles she joined KPMG. After achieving a manager status at KPMG in the accounting department, Esther managed a portfolio of owner managed businesses.
Esther was seconded to an international client for a year, Electro-Motive Diesel and Locomotive Company (Pty) Ltd, to assist with the day to day running of the accounting department and reporting to the US financial director. She has 23 years accounting experience. Esther is currently the financial manager for Power Matla (Pty) Ltd and a director of Epiworx (Pty) Ltd.
